Dear Incarnation Parishioners:
Do you have a “Gratitude List?” It doesn’t have to be written down, but do you remember to thank the Good Lord each day for the many blessings bestowed upon you? Your list may include your children, grandchildren, home, car, or job. Or it may include waking up this morning, your faith, the sunshine and flowers, or what health you have. Your list may change from day to day, but there are always so many things to be thankful for!
With that in mind, our little parish has many opportunities to “pay it forward,” as they say. Over the years, Incarnation has been able to expand many of its services and ministries, while adding new workshops, prayer and study groups, and outreach activities. It is because of your time, talent, and treasure that Incarnation is making a difference in our community.
The weekend of February 3 – 4 is our parish’s Stewardship Commitment Weekend. This gives us an opportunity to thank God for all the blessings that we take for granted. I hope you’ll give prayerful consideration to volunteering your time, talent, and treasure to help Incarnation continue to move forward!
In addition, the Stewardship Committee will host a Stewardship Fair on Sunday, March 11, where you can learn about the many opportunities we offer to our parishioners who would like to be a part of serving God and His people, from in-house ministries and projects, to our Angel Tree children, to helping the nearby area ministries. This event will take place in conjunction with our March Fellowship Breakfast. At that time, you may find additional volunteer opportunities that are calling you.
Please take a few minutes to look over the enclosed Stewardship Intention Form and return it next weekend at Mass. Or, if you prefer, the form can be found online at www.incarnationcatholicchurch.org When completing the form online, please use your envelope ID number, which can be found on your mailing label.
May God bless you for your generosity!
Gratefully,Fr. Christian T. Moore, OFM Conv.Pastor
